what a deal with pix.

Well the deal is some more wood split and stacked. We still are several wagon loads to go.Today me and my son worked over the exhaust system on the rope starter splitter so the exhaust fumes didn't blow in my face.Added a 90o ell and an extension pipe so now the exhaust goes down and away. We also made a snatch chain that's heavier then we were using, so now the son in law gets he one we had so he can pull logs from his trailer. The garage was nice and warm from the wood boiler,72o.We came back in the house where son peeled potatoes so I could make potato chips. When we moved from the farm in spartensburg(sp)Pa,mother brought with her pots and pans. dishes.etc and a vegetable slicer,it shaves potatoes so thin I can almost read a newspaper through them.Makes the best chips ever. I can make a meal out of em along with garden tomatoes. If you make your own chips, we cook them in peanut oil and I'm here to state our potatoes are huge
and we haven't started harvesting them yet. Its the near future before cold weather sets in.Here is some pictures of items in this post.Just about supper time so I'm gone for now.
Regards Lou & Victor

My wife has a slicer that cuts they real thin also. We made some today also and used our air fryer to cook them. Came out excellant with no oil. Just got the fryer so had to play with it

I've become aware of which way the wind's blowing when using the wood splitter. You need a breeze blowing the exhaust away from you as much as possible.

Around 55 years ago my uncle built a potato chip factory. He ran it for about a year and couldn't take the stress and sold it. The building became a restaurant for probably forty-five years.
