Good pictures, thanks. Been so dry here people are now running corn. Haven't heard how it is turning out yet.

Lol neither are we. Great to hear the weather changed,we've finally been getting some rain here the last several weeks after an almost record dry july&august. Too late for some crops but just in time for most.

OK Bruce - WHAT kind of grain?
Corn and soybean harvest just about ready to start here in central Illinois.

Oats , believe it or not. We were a month late planting , due to continuous rain. And I guess with the cool summer we had , it worked. Never harvested cereals this late before. Sous are now about 50% turned colour, and corn is a long ways off. My silage corn has not even dented yet, usually done, or at least right at it. It will be October before we chop corn.

In Iowa oats was normally combined in mid to late July. Don't see much oats anymore, corn stalks and bean straw are baled for livestock bedding now.
