Another dumb criminal........

Didn't want to hijack the thread about the two guys with the light pole, but we had an interesting situation here a couple of days ago.

The Nebraska State Patrol stopped a car, for what reason I never heard. Anyway, the three guys in the car all bailed out and took out running. Two were caught fairly easily, but one stole a pickup from a neighbor a mile up the road from me. This rocket scientist then drove to a Casey's store and asked a fellow how to get to the Interstate. By coincidence, the fellow he asked knows our neighbor and recognized the pickup.

Now, what's wrong with this scene? A young, barefoot black male driving a pickup owned by a 70 year old white male in a county that's at least 98% white. Driving a pickup with our county's license plates 3 miles from the Interstate and he doesn't know how to get there?

The fellow the thief asked for directions was not aware of the chase in progress, but he was suspicious enough to call the law anyway. They caught the kid with the pickup shortly after he was on the Interstate. At least he got that far.

You can't make this stuff up.

Probably under a lot of pressure to get some money, without actually working for it. I'm assuming that raccus is just a very bad spelling of racist.

Years ago a kid and his cousins from Houston. Robbed the local bank. Cops chased them out of town to a dirt road. Dirt road comes out only in one spot. So they sent one car to chase them down the road. The others were waiting at the end.Turned out the one kid lived on that road should have known better. The whole town was laughing at them even the kids father was laughing at them. Said he didn't understand how a kid of his could be so stupid.Asked the sheriff to turn the kid over to him for some adjustments.

Had two dumb bunnies robbed a gin mill near here a couple of weeks ago. There happened to be a gathering of cops there for a retirement party for one of their own. They let them get out of the bar, then arrested them. Oh, by the way- the gin mill was across the street from the precinct.........
