Good New England Mechanic

Having recently relocated to the western burbs of Boston, I don't have any idea where to find a good, competent mechanic to rebuild the engine on my IH B275 Diesel. She's got a bad knock and a lot of metal shavings in the oil. I would love to take it on myself, but lack of time and knowledge of diesel engines has me seeking assistance. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic that can take this on within 1.5 hours or so of Hopkinton, MA? Thanks for any help!

check with local high schools about a diesel shop. Teacher will be an expert & students may need the experience.

Jimmy Driscoll at Lawrence Crankshaft in Haverhill MA. He does a lot of work for the pullers around here. He did the head for my Oliver. Just an hour from you.
