It has froze here 3 times so far and today they started chopping some corn fields to the east of me. The trucks have been going by all day. Seems a little early but many of the trees are starting to show a lot of color

Been at it here a few days too. We broke a wagon king pin, and managed to roll the box over in the yard, on level ground. Not the best of days.

Did not roll any but had my son standing on the front corner of our Deere 125 chuckwagon with a rocking bolster as the front wheel was off the ground. Was not funny at the time but we both laughed after we were off the steep spot. I have had that happen about three or four times over the years. Ran one down a hill into a tree many years ago. If it would have been over about a foot it would have been fine but the cross conveyor extention and the tree did not play well together. It was my worst wagon at the time. Tom

We had one other one break the king pin off, but it didn't tip over. This just looks stupid, flat spot- right in front of the bag. Nobody hurt, could have happened on the road or who know where. Apart from the roof and maybe the cross conveyor extention, not much damage.

Only ones chopping any here, are the guys that are out of corn silage. My corn won't go till October, still very wet. We are having such a backwards year
