Read this AM that McD's is going to put automated ordering in- both on line ("there's an app for that" already, I think) and a kiosk at the store. First the "family wage" jobs got automated and/or exported out, now even the burger flipper jobs are going.

As someone famous once said, "You can't base an economy on doing each other's laundry."

In my travels this past three weeks I saw quite a few ordering qiosks in there. haven't tried one yet. You can still walk up to the counter and bypass it. SO FAR!?
