Just looking around the barn

Nothing special, just had my phone out while in the barn. My dad's 4x4 needed new front axles so I put them in with my youngest son as my helper. The Jubilee, an early 8N and the MF 165, then the old JD 310C back hoe. And last is my last tomato for the year.

Years ago I bought a used 83 Gmc S truck, was loaded with options and a veterinarian traded it in. Took all the seats/ carpet/ door panels out and shampooed and steam cleaned and it really turned out nice outside of the gutless 2.8 V/6 that broke it's crankshaft in two. Found a work order in the glove box from A General Motors zone office in Chicago to get that truck ready for the Chicago Auto Show. Vet. must of had more money than brains to buy a truck like that to beat through gravel roads and barn yards

PULLED MY I8 GOOSENEK W/MY 2.8 5-SPEED & AIR SHOX...MY AG STUDENTS COULDN BELIEVE HER...BE BLESSED. GRATEFUL, PREPARED...

Nice picture thank you for sharing. A feed consultant was showing me pictures of his dad's 83' S10,he added frame supports heavier brakes and suspension and a 350 hp 327

This S-10 is an '87. I had an '85 that finally quit. The transmission went out in it and it was going to cost more to fix that the truck was worth. But now I wish I had fixed it instead of getting rid of it.

Start the kids early learning repairs. So many young people don't know a thing mechanical. Nice to see someone else works in the dirt. Stan
