What Are These Called & Are They Worth Anything?

These are lug nuts for the ole' split rim dualies (think 9:00-20 tires). Someone told me a year or so back that they're getting very hard to find and were selling for upwards of $20 a piece on eBay.

I didn't think about it, until I acquired a whole bunch of them in a "lot" of hardware I bought from a machine shop.

Anyone know what you'd even search for on there? I cant find any similar. Just trying to determine their value. Thanks in advance guys.

I don't think they are anything special. Look like the outer nut on somthing like a Izuzu medium duty duelly truck. That nut holds the outer wheel and a square headed cap nut holds the inner wheel.

Common Budd wheel nuts available anywhere
truck tires are done or online. Missing the
stud nut half.

A few years back we replaced the rear axles in my dump truck. The ones we got were enough newer they had hub pilot rims. I have been walking around the budd rims, the kind which use those nuts, ever since. My tire man has no interest in these rims, says there's no call for them. They went for scrap last week.

You could tack weld them together and make some of those cutesy artsy things to sell at flea markets. Otherwise, their weight x scrap
price. No way I would buy used lug nuts, nor would I sell used lug nuts.

basically thats why they were still at place when you bought the stuff. never sell used nuts unless
it is for lawn mower or less, liability setup can be otherwise
