Random pics from Booneville MO steam tractor show

My best buddy has a banged up hand but there was no way he was going to miss the show. We had a great time. Here are some random photos of some of the things we found interesting. There was so much to see we couldn't get pictures of it all!

Very nice thank you. I've seen lots of old tractors but I've never gotten to see a steam powered anything in person yet. Definitely on my bucket list.

What kind is the one with the black locomotive looking cab on it? Don't know that l've ever seen that flavor before . Also curious about the one under roof, them gotta be 8 foot wheels on the back. Glad your buddy got to go, I'm gonna get mine over to Jacksonville in two weeks if work don't mess me up. Nice pics, thanks for posting.

The guys at the Kinzer, PA show had some pearls of knowledge. If you look at every other kind of steam tractor all of the mechanics are on top of the boiler. All of this crap sort of blocks your view of where you are going. The Avery build engines with a clear or clean top. Much much more ease to drive. Now that being said, there is a not so good pay back. With all those moving parts, wet, grease, etc. Being down low like that in the field they make a fantastic dust, dirt, and grit collector. Next thing you know your engine is being rebuilt cause it is all chewed up. Interesting little story.
