I have a slab of steel in front of my shop door. After the total eclipse was over, we noticed the shadows.

Those are pretty neat, we had just enough cloud cover much of it I could not see any of those,, I did get some shots of it though I like, I used two different filters, I thought it odd how it seemed to move from right to left and then almost straight down as it moved past

Cloudy and raining in south Alabama, never saw it, I thought it was supposed to cause a black out or darkness, neither has happened here just a routine wet day, other than clouds the sky never darkened

I did not have any safe glasses, but I did stay outside watching between 2-3pm. No darkening of sky, no cooling temperature, I have seen sun obliterated much more by forest fires than this. I am in southern Virginia.
Glad I didn't invest anything in this show.... I would be demanding a refund!!

really good storm here earlier, thought for sure it would be a bust. close to noon it cleared up. eclipse only lasted about 45 seconds or so. long enough to make all the neighbors porch lights come on.

Same here in Northwest Ohio. Cloudy and rain when was supposed to be. Sky never darkened more that the clouds.

We're about 15 miles east of Petersburg, Va on US 460 and had about 86% coverage, made the inside of our shop look weird. I remember an eclipse in the late 60's, the chickens went to roost!
