International TD5 with Blade

DadsDaughter

New User
Trying to come up with a price for my dads TD5 crawler with blade to sell. Any ideas? I'm not coming up with much info on it. Good condition and runs. TIA!

Well first thing is where is it located, that makes some difference, then condition of the tracks and undercarriage. Next some pictures would really be great and maybe the serial number then someone can get close to telling you what they think it is worth.

(quoted from post at 12:44:45 08/21/17) Theres nothing on this website that lists the values of a TD5, hence the question.

This crawler was only used as a power unit for a irrigation pump. Tracks, Undercarriage and pedals show very little wear.

Looks like a really nice little rig.

I would guess if you can find someone who wants it, it should bring over $5,000, maybe $7,500, not $10,000. But not $1,000 either.

It takes a buyer and a seller.

If I were you I would advertise on a heavy equipment site where you are more likely to find a crawler collector. They're too small for much work compared to modern equipment and skid steers handle landscaping work.

From the looks of the drive sprocket teeth and the paint (if original) that it is very low hours on the undercarrage. If the engine runs and starts well, I would project $5000.00 If it is not running but cranks with apparent compression, $3500. If it does not crank, $2500. So were it mine to sell i would put effort into making it operational. Jim

I would suggest posting your information on the Red Power Mag. forum in the construction section. New undercarriage for that tractor is no longer available so if it is good and the tractor runs and obviously has good sheet metal it could be a sought after machine. I am not an interested party, but take your time if you can and do what research you can before just letting it go for too low of price. I believe they are somewhat collectible.
good luck
Dennis
