I don't know if anyone else posted about this yet or not, but it looks as if the USS Indianapolis has been finally found. Probably was overshadowed by all the BS going on down south.

dad farmed within 1-1/2 miles of one of the survivors, rode the school buss with his children in late 50's, I was not aware of his service until a few years ago when he started presenting some programs at local school veteran's day proceedings, there has been a couple of gatherings put on by our local county museum recently. large turnouts honoring him, and he is still sharp as a tack mentally and quite active for his age. I consider it a great honor to know him personally and highly respect him for the service he has given our country. leroy
