Met a YT'er! Calling Russ

Got to meet Russ in MN and his wife today at Itasca. Had a coup!e short visits and caught most of the parade together.

Russ, I owe you a sincere apology for not taking time to introduce you to my wife and visit more. Between the parade and the kids and a family friend showing up, I neglected to have a proper YT visit. We come to Shevlin/Bemidji quite a bit... I hope you'll let me make it up. Sure glad I finally got to meet you, though!
 
That's OK, I thought about getting a picture of us for YT, but some folks are sensitive about that. You have a nice family and you can be proud of them. We left for our cabin as soon as we got home so I will post a couple of pictures next week, that's all I took. The big engines in the dark building don't photograph very well, and as nice as most of the tractors were, most folks have seen lots of pictures of similar ones. I was disappointed that the big sawmill was only running at specific times, I wanted my wife to see that, but she enjoyed the old cars the most! We had a very nice motorcycle ride home.

Did you drive down 71 when you went to Itasca? If so you drove by my house between Bemidji and Kappekona I am going today.
 
Only as far as the N Plantagenet rd, then W. We love county roads and try to avoid construction. There are a lot of very nice county roads in the BJI area. That's what the county sales tax goes for.
 
We will have to coordinate a meeting next year. I was there all three days, and MN Farmboy 83 was there as well. It would be fun to meet a few more YT'ers in person.
