8N governor on a Funk Conversion

I finishing my restoration of my 1952 8N with the 226 Ford Industrial Engine. It is a Funk conversion and about 99% all original Funk parts. I have three of these all in different states of repair and this one is almost finished but the governor is is leaking oil between the front pulley and the body. The problem I'm having is How to I separate the governor? On the 8N there is a screw to remove to get the governor apart but I can'r get the front part of the governor which is the mounting system that Funk Company cast that attaches to the original 8N governor in place of the drive gear. Does the pulley need to be pulled off to get the front off the governor. It don't look like it is keyed and may be pressed on nut don't want to start pulling on it only to find out the assembly pulls apart. I sure don't want to break it as I would never find a replacement. I'm hoping someone out there has had one apart.
