Pretty sure my family and I are going first thing in the morning. Look for a young couple with 2 small kids. Blonde hair 3 yr old girl and a one year old girl. Probably a wooden red wagon in tow. I'll be wearing a gray Twin City tractor shirt. Anyone planning on being there? Russ? JMS? Thought you said you were going. Let me know! 218%766#3606.
 
Man there are shows around the state in the next couple weeks.

Butter field is going on this weekend, tho with all the rain we are getting it must be miserable. They are getting dead center with a high wind and rain storm right now.

Lesuer is coming up soon.

Lot of old iron will be limbered up. :)

Was 5-10 miles east of me, in an arc from south to north.

Didn't know anything was up it was deadly calm, started raining like crazy, zero wind. Then saw the warnings on tv, and local station went to an hour of coverage, listened to the police scanner, was crazy stuff. All the while very calm. Then over night we got a wind blast, leveled sweet corn, leaned the corn. 3" of rain.

One of the odder storms to go by. All those little but powerful twisters. It really messed up one farm, damaged about every building, but they didn't lose any calves - some huts were in the trees, but the calves survived.

I"ll be working at our Forest City show. Butterfield and Nowthen are always on the same weekend as ours. We went to I think Magrath some years ago...nice emphasis on lumbering along with tractors. Wonder if Itasca is similar?
