Not tractors but the antique cars were out this past weekend. The second car show we attended was all cars and no tractors. Must have been about 40 cars which is pretty good for a small village. We did not have much space left to park the Merc and Chevy II as we arrived late.

I posted a few pictures from an antique truck show I attended Sunday in
Tractor Tales if you want to take a look. Will be posting more.

My Grandma had a 62 Chevy2 Nova.
She bought it new and drove it for 30 yrs.
When she went into a nursing home it was sold
with the stipulation that no family member could
buy it.
We all wanted it!

(quoted from post at 06:41:09 08/15/17) 1952 on the Merc?
Yes, 52 for the Mercury. That was a 56 Chev behind it. I think I have a better pic of that one still in the camera.
Here is a shot of the same Merc from the days when I was too young to drive it.

(quoted from post at 10:45:50 08/15/17) The Merc looked well used in its earlier years.
Its true, the Merc was the only licensed vehicle on the farm so it did some jobs that a truck should have done. Miles of gravel and muddy dirt roads probably contributed to the rusty underside over the years.

My grandma had a '61 Buick Special with the aluminum V8. It would fly. None of us had our license yet, but 'borrowed' it anyway when she wasn't looking.

that duce brings back some memories, lol when i was young i once thought that chevy ll was called that because we also had a 64 impalla back then
