In the last 5-6 weeks it's been quite hot and only 3/4" of total rain minus the nice overnight dews. It's showering nice and slow now and has been most of the night with another 3/4" forecasted for Tuesday. Just in time to pollinate the corn and hopefully give the potatoe growers here a badly needed boost. We sure hate rainy days during planting and haying but it sure feels like a desperate situation when things start drying up over a period of time. I sure hope some other areas that are far worse off than us get some badly needed relief as well.

Wish we could get some in N MN! But the farmers combining rye would probably like to see it stay dry for awhile.

I got about 4 inch of rain A few days ago, every thing is green up. Grass is growing, hay is making good. More rain is coming this week, here in E Tex. Hope you can get some of it.

I'd gladly share some with you. We got 6 plus inches of rain over night so today I get the fun of fixing my driveway so we can get to town when we need to. I'm going to post a few pictures in tractor tales

In S. AZ, we had <1/2" all year through mid-June. Then July hit, wettest on record, I got 3-1/2" in one storm. Had a few sunny days now, and this morning I discovered that both my weedeaters had cracked primer bulbs. They were drained and fogged properly last fall. That's it, ordered an electric one.
