You guys are always thinking 8/9n fords are worth $2,500 here is you a newer tractor that looks good. Probably about what it is worthhttps://nashville.craigslist.org/grd/d/ford-tractor/6235338515.html.

Not many "ran when parked" N's are in the $2,500 range. "Ran when parked" always decreases the value. Still, it looks like a deal worth checking out if it is close enough to home for someone.

The last "ran when parked" tractor I looked at has an open exhaust and had been open to the elements for 20+ years.
When I initially talked to the seller on the phone, he said he would go out to the tractor and see if the engine was loose, if I wanted him to.
Of course, everybody reading this knows how loose the engine was....

I zoomed in as best as I could to look at rear wheel, that ain't no jubilee ford, I don't see the large axle nut, it's a 600 series tractor, possibly a 601

YOu're right - it's not a Jubilee.
The ad I see lists it as a 640... and the model number stamped on the bellhousing is 640. Maybe the ad was updated?
If that was within an hour's drive, I'd have bought it by now.

I am guessing that jm. does not know the difference between a jublie and a 600 series and to him they are all Jublie models. Even tho there are quite a few differences a Non Ford person might not understand them. When I clicked the link it said 640 so that is the model closest to the NAA built in 54 while the Jublie was only the 53 year model. The 600 series followed as 55 & 56 models with the 640 sharing the 4 speed with the NAA but the 650 was 5 speed and 660 was 5 speed but with live power. I think it just was that jm. is not a Ford person.

You are right Leroy I am by no way a ford expert, all I know is it was a ford.. Just looked cheap when you got to yt photo adds and they are asking 2500 and up. World is full of "it ran when parked " old tractors. In this part of the country it is not what they are worth but who is buying them at any price. Just lots of them.
