I was dropping off some feed this morning. Noticed a dozer I had not seen there before. Name on the weight says OLIVER. Best I can make out on the tag is 2323 S R. I didn't know Oliver made them.

My Dad's Construction Company had a OC3 with a loader. Hopelessly under powered, but it worked its little heart out for 47 years till he sold it. Jim

They made an OC series from the little OC3 up to this big old OC18.

Oliver bought out Cletrac in 1941. Ironically,Rolland White started the Cletrac company, then it was the same White family who owned White truck company that bought out Oliver in 1960.

Back in 1960 dads friend put a chevarolet 6 with transmission in an oc3. It worked well , rember its not made to replace a Caterpillar D8.

It may be an OC3. It is a midget compared to that thing. Going to stop by and get some more information some time this week.

There was oc3 and hg in Oliver cletrac. Cletrac had several small dozers earlier than those one steered with a steering wheel. There was also 0c4 a little bigger, than there was 0c6 (oliver 77 tractor running gear in it)
Most oc3 hg had 4 cyl Hercules flathead there was front loader version to.

dipstick for motor oil will have "IXB3" stamped on it if its a OC3. Means the engine is a Hercules IXB3 4 cyl.
