MF MH part number search

Is there a location or database for MH MF parts numbers? I have a part number and I want to find out what equipment uses that part.

ANYBODY???

(quoted from post at 15:14:39 07/24/17) Just "Google" your part number. Should show up.
he problem is that it does not show up. I have tried looking it up on a parts book, no luck. The numbers certainly look like MH MF part numbers, but I suppose they could be MF wanna-be numbers. Just really frustrating. The part numbers are for the assembly in the differential the ring gear attaches to. Part no. 183 274 M1. What does it go to?

agcopartsbook dot com. Enter as a guest user and put the model number in the search box. You'll have to scroll through a lot of similar model numbers for various Agco brands, but you'll get down to you're model Massey eventually. I never searched a Massey Harris on there, but they even have the part numbers and the schematics for my David Brown built Oliver 500 tractor on there, even though none of the numbers are good anymore.

OK wait, put your part number in the search box for part numbers then, not the model search box.

Can you take a picture of it and post the picture on here. There are a lot of guys that can tell you what it is and where it goes on what tractor, me not being one of them.

Keith is correct about posting a picture. These guys on here are off the charts smarts. You could take a picture of a rusty bolt and they can tell you what size it
is ,thread pitch where it was made what grade of metal what it fit and a part number and a serial number. LOL . Point is the folks on here really know there stuff
thats why i enjoy reading through the post.

(quoted from post at 08:57:05 07/25/17) I just checked that number, and it does not come up as a good part number.

The casting number that looks like its a part number isn't a part number (why they did that I have no idea).

did go to agcopartsbook and drew a blank. I even called the local agco and they couldn't find anything.

(quoted from post at 13:53:19 07/25/17) You are right it is the casting number. I have 2 different casting number for the same part 181 274 M1 and 183 094 M2
/quote]Thank you for the help about the casting numbers. I thought I had received the wrong differential carrier assembly. Since that was not the problem, apparently, I dug a little deeper. I looked at the new ring and pinion gears and they have two different pairing numbers etched on them. The original damaged ring and pinion had the same pairing numbers. Would this cause binding when the left axle trumpet is bolted in place?
