Transmission pump bushing

I have a Toyota transmission that the bushing spun out towards the seal and caused it to leak big time. I pulled the bushing out and it looks like it spun maybe 5 times. The bushing and the bore both look like new. The torque converter looks to need a bit of cleaning up, but nothing you can catch your finger nail on. Overall, the whole thing really doesn't look too bad. What I'm tempted to do is clean the converter up with some emery cloth, and install a new bushing using Loctite 620 bearing mount. I've never come across anything that stuff won't hold, it retains full strength in fluids, and is good to 450F. What are your thoughts? Like I said, I can't see anything wrong with the bore, and there's really not much with the converter either. Just very minor marking.
