Ford 6000 Serial Number

Just curious, old Ford guys. Where do we find the serial number on a Ford 6000 tractor like the one in the photos I posted? We would kind of like to record the serial number before it leaves the country but can't find it anywhere.

IRC it is on the bell housing right behind where the starter bolts on. It is on the top of the flat spot there.

Thanks, you are right. That is exactly where it was. The truck driver knew where to look. I'll have some video of loading the tractor on youtube soon as I get through editing and uploading.

This is a local guy we know who is in that business of locating and shipping old iron all over the world in containers to collectors. He has some interesting stuff pass through his shop.

He had a friend that wanted one and he had known about this one for quite some time so an offer was made. We figured after sitting in the shed for 14 years it might be time for someone else to make something of it.
