97 degrees yesterday baled all I had cut Monday and half what I had cut Tuesday the rest was a little green outside of a field with a lot of tree line.Headed to 98 or 99 today get the rest baled and more cut,now if the old equipment and old man can just hold up.Have plenty of equipment backup but the old fellow is a one man show(LOL)

Wish I could get some of that good hay weather . everyday is a crap shoot . Hauling bales yesterday , and got caught in a ten minute shower. Not a lot of water ,but still rain none the less. Hard to get through a day without some rain.

I could have been done with second here but were calling for rain the last few days but didn't rain! Storm finally moved in so looking at Saturday before knocking it down.

Same here - I mowed Tuesday night and my kid tedded it out yesterday - it was almost dry enough to go last night, 24 hours after I mowed it
I didn't have nerve enough to mow more last night though - talking thunderstorms tonight

Here in the Northeast we have been in the nineties both temperature and humidity. Tues we had afternoon showers predicted, and we got some heavy downpours. Yesterday was more of the same but with a prediction of afternoon pop-up thundershowers. Some guys have mowed but mainly for baleage. Next week is supposed to be much lower temp and humidity.

Started mowing second cutting monday afternoon and finished here at the house tuesday morning, then tended everything.
Baled one field yesterday but the second one was still a touch green, heading out to another farm to mow this morning and will bale here this afternoon.

I was planning on cutting hay this weekend, but just looked at the forecast and 50% tomorrow, 80% Saturday, and 100% Sunday chance of rain. So maybe next weekend.

I cut Monday & baled yesterday evening. Made 35 bales, 5x5' 8",last year made 68 bales. Been dry here and getting drier every day. Temps 99-100 with heat index 106-110 next 7 days. Doubt we'll get a second cut unless it rains a lot more than it has so far.

Cut Monday, baled last evening. Heavy downpours and thunderstorms, with a tornado watch here this afternoon. Rained so hard we nocked off early at work. Good chance for rain here till next Tuesday.

I just finished my first cutting about an hour ago. Or was it second cutting. I guess you could say that I'm doing both at one time........I might get another cutting yet!

I cut a little Sunday afternoon and we got a downpour three hours later. Got it baled Wed. but still muddy. More rain tomorrow, terrible year for hay here. 100+ bales per acre but can't get it in.

Just starting second cutting. Mowed Tuesday baled while ago. Have it in shed. Just a few bales. Son and Grand Sons on vacation. Did by my self also.

Same here, so much humidity. Yesterday i was lucky we got a few drops but nothing to damage the hay. Today they forecast the same 40% chance or rain and possible thunder storm. Hope i will be able to bale and pick up the hay before any rain. Yesterday i avoided 2 major thunderstorm that passed on each side or the place i live. I got lucky

Knocked about 10 acres down yesterday (mowing around the standing water in the fields) with the intent on raking/baling/wrapping it today (forecast for sun). Well here it is today overcast with 86% humidity, dew point of 75* and a temp of 76*, its 1:30pm and the dew is still so heavy on the grass that you need rubber boots to walk anyplace. Not looking good for today. Calling for rain tomorrow....

Story of 2017 continues; the year we can't even get grass dry enough to make silage....
