Gonna try to upload a couple pics. If it doesn't work, I'll keep trying. It's an old tractor(duh). Thinking it may be a Case?

Don't you mean built form the WC. The W Speed Patrol was built form the WC tractor and from what i can see good chance that is what he has in his pictures

What I see is the W Speed Patrol which was built form the WC farm tractor and turned into a road grader. I know the machine well since I use one to take care of my driveway and have for 20 plus years

Is it suitable for maintaining a 2200' gravel runway? What is the HP?

Old got it right I have one also. They do a good job grading a lot better than using a rear blade on a tractor. They had the WC engine originally about 35 or so HP but yours has a different
manifold than the original like a later model engines or maybe a replacement manifold. An engine from a later model tractor can be put in it easy enough.

Doc agree with others and yes it will. Depends on condition of tractor/grader unit is it all wore out? A cheaper option might be a rock rake, back scraper blade, box blade all go on tractor 3 pth. Tow behind and powered graders have gone out in my area due to 1. asphault 2. the above mentioned item for a tractor.

It also has an automotive generator on it. Looks exactly like
what I did on a WD back in the '60s. Right down to the longer
bolt and spacers on the rear bolt of the mount. Should be a
voltage regulator somewhere.

Well it is the only one A/C built directly form a farm tractor and it is the W speed Patrol which use the engine transmission and rear end of the WC but they cut the frame and extended it and put a wide front on it and the blade. I own one and if you look close you can see where the cut in the frame is

I was going to go grab it up, but pretty sure it'll be too light and not enough HP for what I want to do.

If anyone wants to buy it, on Waco TX CL. I might go look at it later today, but likely won't be buying, so open season for anyone else.

Spoke with 'seller' who is not the owner, but a friend, of a relative, of the owner who is elderly. Get a rock solid bill of sale, including the actual owners name, and address.

Needs at a minimum: Head surfaced, head gasket, carb rebuild, electrical refurb.

More than likely needed: At least one cyl liner, rings. Piston may be saved, may not.

Should be done. All new fluids, clutch, batt, wiring, tires, tubes, grease chassis, and prolly a sh!t-ton more non-cosmetics.

Refurb or yard art.

If I were to get it, I would get the WD 226CI engine of +35HP, and just toss that in with a new clutch. Less time, hassle and better perf than working with a dead-dog tired WC engine.

Even at that, in the few vids I watched the rear traction with the blade down much leaves a lot to be desired. I could weight it down, but by the time I get done with all the upgrades, mods, etc I might as well spend a few thou and get my first choice of a AC model D or DD.

Ok, new idea.

I found a running 1954 WD45 nearby for low money.

Wondering if; The Speed patrol parts will unbolt from the WC chassis and bolt up to the WD45 chassis without a lot of hassle?

Pretty sure the front parts won't be an issue but the control wheels and framing bolt up across the trans area.

Maybe I'll go grab it up tomorrow and figure it out on my own. Even it it's not a straight bolt up job, I may have to drill a few holes here and there.
