Did some painting on a wagon today

Finally got around to painting the high dump we picked up over the winter. It was originally dark orange with black wheels as its a Richardton 700. Sunflower bought them out years ago and left the dump the same far as I know and call it a Sunflower 8020 with bright red paint and yellow wheels so that's what we did. Have Richardton stickers to put on it.

Silage gets chopped and blown into that wagon. It the dumps it's load into a truck, which will transport the silage to the silo or bunk for storage.

It dumps sideways- the pivot points are at the tops of the two uprights in the picture. Can get a little exciting on sloping ground.

Those are the biggest tires I've ever seen on one of those. But then most of the ones that I see are older. One of the farms where I hung out as a kid blows direct into trucks, but they pull a two wheeled high dump behind the chopper for the wet areas.

Hehe my wife asked the same question about our leased NewHolland,i said too bad for them if they can't take a joke on a red NewHolland:) no overspray that I could find

I have been thinking lately what with emissions and electronics that leasing might be the smart way to go. You could say that it costs more, but on the other hand you don't need to worry about a ticking time bomb.

Same thoughts here too,we opted for 6 yr power
train warranty on a 5 yr lease. Makes it worth a bit
more when lease is due or if we decided to buy it
out we have an extra yr.
