From my older 2wd loader tractor with shuttle post, one of suggestions that was made was was to look at the IH 84/85 series tractors as the fwd to reverse stroke was inline.
My trusty JD5055d has a straight throw (range/reverse lever) from low A to reverse and its synchronized too.
I can put a loader in my JD, which was another post a few weeks ago, but I'm thinking for the $$$$'s, I could probably buy an older 2wd drive tractor with a loader, hence the questions.
Straight throw from fwd to reverse accomplishes the shuttle IMHO.
So the question is - what other tractors have such a shifting pattern with a straight throw from fwd to reverse? Hopefully synchronized, strong clutch and front axle.
