I found this old tractor in a barn on my great uncles farm. My aunt said take it if I want it. Runs okay but the cab is kinda a pain so am going to cut it off.

Gonna have to take the front fenders off to mount a loader. Wont be pretty but with a torch I can make anything work.

I'm not a MM man but DON'T take a torch anywhere close to that thing!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want a loader tractor, you can probably sell it for enough $$$ to buy a nice newer cab tractor and loader.

I hope your joking big time or your very stupid. That is a MM UDLX which in very good shape is worth well over $100,000.
If you want a loader tractor put that one up for auction and buy pretty much any tractor you want because that one if a big collectors type tractor and people will be knocking down you door wanting it.

So do you really not know what you have???????????????

Or are you just joking around????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Somewhere read that about 65 of those tractors are known to be in existence anywhere. Some would say they are the most valuable collector tractor in world. That one would have to be restored as close to original as possible. .When you see them at shows they are under a tent or in a shed and have guards around them.

Hey, that's my Uncle's tractor which was stolen from his farm in Northern Saskatchewan about 40 years ago. Post your phone number, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police wanna have a little chat with you !!!

That picture has been on this site before, Jan 2017 by another poster. It was taken in the 80's.....
Pretty funny seeing everyone getting wound up though......

I like the old tractor in the pasture pictures.

Back in the 70's when I was about 8. Once a month we would visit my great grandmother. We had to drive on 15 miles of gravel country roads to get there. On the way we would pass an old abandoned farm stead. Next to the HUGE barn was a funny looking yellow tractor with cab and front fenders.

I never knew what the tractor was until years later when I bought a vintage tractor book. It was a UDLX. It was too late. The tractor and farm stead was gone. Have no idea what happened to the tractor.

Well not really since that is one tractor I bet at least 25% of the people on this site would want. I know I sure as heck would love to own one

DO NOT cut that cab off that tractor. Those Moline tractors are the most elite tractors built in the USA. Some one said down below that Meacom Auctions sold a restored one for $100 grand, but it sold for over $200 grand !!!!!!!!!
You have no clue what you have there. Again DO NOT do anything to it until you know full well what it is worth.

I'll take top of cab when you cut it off. they make great sleds in the winter, flip it upside down and away you go.

Cut carefully! The cab makes a pretty good chicken coop and you can use the front fenders for feed troughs for your hogs. 😉Ben

more than that they bring 150 or more depending on the restoration that tractor just like that is worth several thousand

I don't blame you-I would cut the top of the cab off right below the windshield. If you have a 220 volt outlet I can bring my plasma cutter and we could have that ugly cab off in 5 minutes. I hear scrap is back up to $100 per ton so why stop with just the cab?---Tee

with all witnesed stupidity being committed by non farmers these days ,,. and the over generosity of senile older
folx for but kissinephews,,and then some older folz over grouchiness and stinginess of our own family members
,.. one could easily almost believe that such a gift horse would come about ,but never in my family . and to top
it off ,,and add insult to injury,, naturally some one is gonna look in its mouth ,, and say OFF With The TOP ,..
case in point ,, 1980 i recall getting out bid time and again on a farm with a decent farmstead that needed help
5 yrs before it came for sale,. it would a made a nice farm for me ,and my young family,,.. you know what is
there now ???weeds and doublewide trailers ,, they sold the house and barn razed the buildings split the farm 6
different ways from sunday

Even though this is just a silly post , it is hard to believe that one of these unique tractors could ever fall into this kind of condition , and dragged into the junk row in the first place . every dog has it's day . And when it's day was over for the owner , it was junk . Only thing that makes this tractor worth any thing is the rarity of the model , not because they were a super good tractor , or could still be handy on the farm . Interesting picture though any way , all BS a side.
