Anything great here? What models do these front IH weights fit? Not sure they'll go on anything I have. Anybody know what the red smaller round ones are for. Thank you

I'm guessing the smaller IH weights are for the A,B,C front tires but I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination.

Well, I suppose not make you independently weathy, but you can steal thrm at a farm sale for 50 cents a lb sometimes, typically closer to more or less a buck a lb, which adds up.

Big left one and two half ones are IH the rectangular one is 460/ 560 front weight, more rare, maybe a second one underneath. Those usually run 1$ a pound. The big ones should weigh aout 150.

Large red + both 1/2 weights are for Farmall C, SC,H, M SH, SM, SMTA, 200,300, 400, 230, 350, 450, 560, and several others.

Generally, though there are exceptions, suitcase weights bring more because pullers can hang any brand on any pulling tractor and shift them quickly with no tools. Other than that, sometimes somebody needs a particular uncommon type for their tractor, which makes it more valuable to them, while a seller can hope for years that the right buyer will come along.

I have a set like the two small red ones on the bottom right. I'm using them on a Kubota at this time. I have them bolted together and hang them on a drawbar on the 3 point for a rear weight when needed. I think they came from our 550 Oliver we had back in the sixties. We have used them on allot of different things over the years.

When I was finially able to find weights for sale that fit one of my tractors I ended up paying $2 a pound for 500 pounds of weights.

Curious how they would mount on a 240 or 340, must have some sort of bracket but I have not seen one. Our 240 had a loader on for the first 30 years.

thanks for the help everyone. How much do the front IH weights go for? I never saw too many at a sale. This pallet came from one guy that was a customer that I bought some of his tools and misc. I'm ready to move some things out of here.

The 240 and 340 frame weights have holes in the front to bolt the slab weight to.

If you`re talking about the slab weights, a few years back at the Red Power, a guy had a whole bunch in back of his pickup and was selling for $75 a piece. Theres a local guy has an ad on CL that is asking $250 a piece. Ad`s been on for awhile. I`m thinking 75 to 100.

if you still have I would be interested in the two flat ih ones im in southeast Michigan would come pick them up my number is 734-915-2543

see those funny suitcase weights off to the right. Little ones that were on a Kubota or New Holland front mount mower I think. We called them baby weights. Not sure if anyone would want those

You will have an easy time selling the weights for $100 for two complete circles (i.e. one "set" or "pair") of weights. It won't be top dollar but you'll be able to sell them fairly quickly and $100 a set is decent money.
