Canning season is near.....

Just getting the canning jars ready for canning.

Who else uses their dishwasher for the "sterilization' of their jars?

This way i can pack more jars in and put the dishwasher on 'heat/sanitize cycle an I'm good to go.
 
Dishwasher does the trick for us. Already done 60 jars of pickles and 70 of tomatoes. Froze a ton of squash and peppers.
 
I wash them in the dishwasher and put lids and rings on loosely. Actually my wife does that part.
Box them up and store till canning time.
As I prepare stuff for canning in my shop, I put jars in the oven of my shop stove at 175 degrees until ready to put the food in before canning.
