Neat truck pictures...

There were a few trucks on the sale that really caught my eye plus one that was not on the sale. The white 1939 COE [cab over engine] was one of them. It went for $11,750 = 8% internet fee. It went to a internet bidder from Walcott Iowa. The guess was it went to the big truck stop there for they have displays of restored trucks. The other was a rat rod semi sitting next to us in the trailer parking lot. It was a 379 Pete with a big Detroit in it. Twin blowers and velocity stacks sticking through the hood. Kinda neat?---Tee

This is a working model - 1940. (The COE still used the '39 grill.) It's stock except for a 350 Chevrolet engine. The dump holds 2+ yards, and with the 101 inch wheel base, you can get into some very tight places.

If you ever get through Walcott, take an hour or two for the museum. Got some neat old rigs in there. Two electric stand-up delivery trucks went on display last week.

Boys and their toys personified on the Pete. Front tires on that baby are earning their weight carrying rating to go with their 100+# air pressure.
