buying a tractor

I've had good dealings with Herb. Brought a couple of tractors down and they were just like he described.

Main thing you want to do is ask all the questions you need to ask from someone selling a tractor you can't go drive. If you ask the question, the person will usually (not always) tell the truth about it.

I usually have a picture I'm looking at and go over it from front to back asking questions. It is easy for the seller to not even know if the fuel gauge works, or if the hyd works, etc. If they say they don't know, ask them to check. If you ask all the questions, you stand a far better chance of getting what you are expecting. Just my opinion, worth very little - Bob
