32% uran fertilizer

I don't have an answer for you. Side note. On local news they were showing test results of public swimming pools. All but one tested positive for human Pee and fecal matter.

That put an end for me to ever jumping in a pool again.

Then I did some research on what's in urine. Here is a clip:

Cellular metabolism generates numerous by-products, many nitrogenous (rich in nitrogen), that require clearance from the bloodstream. These by-products are eventually expelled from the body during urination, the primary method for excreting water-soluble chemicals from the body. These chemicals can be detected and analyzed by urinalysis. Of the many such substances that exist, the three main nitrogenous wastes of the
mammalian body are urea, uric acid, and creatinine.

So have a party. Invite your friends over for beer. Then tell them they have to pee on your corn. Don't know how cost effective a party would be, but it would give your friends something to talk about for a long time. "I peed on his corn and it grew."LOL

I get it for $265 a ton for a semi load. 32% weighs a twitch over 11 lb per gallon. Do you have a local dealer you can sweet talk into filling your container for bulk price?

30% was $269/ton earlier here in central NY. I haven't been billed for the last of it. I switched from 32% to 30% because I add several things to it (stabilizers, additives, herbicides, etc) and it mixes easier.

howard; it would be much easier if you told us how many pounds of nitrogen per acre, that you wanna put on your corn. ie 10 gallon would be 32lbs per acre.
43 gallon in my figures is around 138lbs of nitrogen per acre, which should be the correct amount of N. your local fert guy can compute the cost of the N at this time over the phone.

News also said chlorine doesn't remove pee, instead it reacts with chlorine. Causes the water to smell like there is actually a stronger chlorine smell. Nothing removes pee in a pool. You have to empty pool and fill with new water.

Everything I've read, Pee can be used as a fertilizer and it should be diluted 5-10 times.

So have a pee party with your friends.

WOW some people cant keep there mind on the question. dont know about 32% but 28% is about $1.15 per gallon, hope that helps you, centeral ohio

I got my laugh for today. I'll never forget the poster of the Creature from the Black Lagoon saying " Alright, who peed in the pool".

32% is running right at $245 a ton here. It weights 10.9 lbs. per gallon. So that works out to $1.34 per gallon. That is semi load pricing. You going to pay more for small amounts.

43 gallons works out to 150 units of nitrogen. You would get the same number of units of nitrogen with 325 lbs. of Urea/46% dry. That would be easier to get in smaller quantities.

I side dressed sweet corn for year with it. I just used a water sprinkling can. The type that had the head that screwed on. I took the head off so you just have a big spout can. I just walked down the row trailing the spout along the corn. You metered how much by how fast you walked. I usually did it right before they called for rain. Usually the corn was waist high or larger. You will not loose too much of the urea in a few days time. Now in 90 degree weather you can loose it in about ten days without rain.

You could also make your liquid fertilizer out of the Urea. That is how the lawn companies do it. Spring Green buys semi loads of 50 Lbs. bags of Urea from a friend of mine. Just take a plastic barrel an dump a bag of Urea in and add water until it is all dissolved.
