Need Help Wiring This Alternator

Hey everyone!

So, I bought a Zetor project tractor - and one of the only functional problems with it, is that the wiring is completely pooched - as in, there are so many loose connections and disconnected fittings that when you move a bundle of wires around under the dashboard, you can hear and see pieces and parts sparking and arcing off of other pieces and parts!

Regardless, I've decided to gut its wiring, and rewire only with a starting circuit, a charging circuit, and a handful of LED lights for after-dark operation.

At the link, you can see the back of the alternator, and the different wires coming from it. In the past, I've only been experienced with wiring 1 wire alternators, so I'm not too sure how to proceed here. I'd rather keep things "original" and use an aftermarket voltage regulator (I bought a BOSCH one), but if all else fails I can convert it to a GM one-wire I suppose!

Can anyone give me advice on this? What do the rest of these wires do?

Not recognizing that model.

Is there a name on the alternator?

Where do the red and black wires on the bottom go? If they go to a regulator, are there any markings on the plug, name on the regulator?

Looks like a mid-70s 60-70 amp SEV/Marchal alternator built under Motorola license, correct?

The tractor is a 92' IIRC, but its old school! Alternator says MADE IN SLOVENIA, so I'm kind of hesitant to replace it with a chinese one wire... This one will probably outlast it.

Newer version might be called "Valeo." It is a European company (or was). Is the voltage-regulator still on the tractor? If not, I doubt it is worth messing with. Lots of $25 alternators from the junkyard that will work fine. Delco 10SI, 12SI, CS130, all sorts of Hitachi's from Subarus, etc. All with internal regulators and easy to wire.

I think JDEM is on the right track.

I found this diagram, looks to have the same markings as the back of your alternator.

You could run it over to Ft. Worth Starter and Generator. They could identify it, test it, probably have a regulator. Or make a recommendation.
