Viewing my slide Ppctures. Not tractor related

I don't know much viewing slide pictures other than the old projector and screen. Is it possible to be able to view slide pictures through my TV? Without getting too technical, can it be done? Stan

If your TV will take direct digital, it will show slides after they are converted to digital. There are units to buy that will copy a slide to a digital format. One unit is called Wolverine. I don't own one or use one, but have seen them advertised. I think I remember that they record to small cards such as used in digital cameras.

I have a Wolverine. As an example below is a scanned slide taken by my father in 1970 which is 47 years ago. My wolverine has a direct TV out that requires an optional cable and outputs composite video. However I usually digitize slides into a computer using USB. The Woverine also has a slot for SD/SDHC cards. I've had my Wolverine for quite a while so I don't know is the features have changed.

I also use a wolverline unit. I convert old slides to a SDHC card then to computer and flash drives.

how long does it need to digitize a slide? I have aNikon slide scanner and so slow that it would take another lifetime to convert my 2000 slides!

It takes a few seconds per slide. Comes with a 4 card holder which you load and slide through the machine. I ordered extra holders so I can load 20 at a time. Takes longer to load the holder than to scan them. Hope this helps

ounds like it really beats this Nikon! Been awhile since I used the slow-poke, but I think it takes over a minute per slide, one at a time.
