58 cub new paint

my 58 cub is in almost daily use, mowing and even more pulling this feed trailer around, it was looking pretty dingy so i shot a new coat of paint on it , came out pretty good

Looks good! what did you use for paint? How did you prep? Red is so likely to fade or get dull in a couple years.

since its a working tractor, prep was basically removing the tin, and power washing everything, then light sanding the tin, the paint is a custom mix used on WW brand stock trailers, i had some left from painting one, the stuff is expansive,[ about 250 a gallon! ] so i hope it lasts awhile, its single stage, and i had just enough for 2 good coats , its real close to the old farmall red, maybe just a little orange], the new "ih red" seems way to brown to me
