Those work great but you do need loose dirt for best resultsd. Till the ground first deep and wide even use cult shovels but you do need loose dirt for best results.

Im going to till the garden, then make a few rows if it works. The low side of the garden has great soil, but it can get wet,Im thinking a few raised rows would help

good to see old iron being used! saw one at coop just like that with a middle buster on it for 350 bucks! i know metal
is high but i thaught that was rediculas

we do the same but use them on a farmall 140. I built a 3pt unit but with 2 disc gangs. Its worked really good because it would level the dirt out on each side of the hill but it broke a few years ago.

Like already said works good on tilled dirt. You could also use 2 twisted chisel plow shovels aimed together in untilled or tilled dirt to do the same thing. Speed would be your friend with the chisel plow shovels though.

I actually purchased a frame an disk from Agri Supply. I plant a lot of stuff in the garden now in raised beds. I am sold.

Larry,
My garden is big enough to need your tool.
I used loader, pushed tilled dirt to ends of garden for potatoes,
then covered everything with wood chips.

Next year, the plan is to make hills on all sides of garden and
plant everything in the middle.

You are just making a "boarder disc" used a lot in irrigation I have a factory made one here but they have three discs per side all different size largest in the center then smallest at the end,, used them in AZ when I was helping my uncle get a hay field into production, the boarders made the water flow to the end of the field from the ditch, yours will work great for your app
