I know There have been Previous "Threads" on Shop Radios etc.,, But id like to hear some More... I have a Bose CD3000 That's Does a Great job for me with an Outside Ant ,, I'm in a Metal Building, Your Thoughts ... Larry in N Ga

I have a Kenwood amp . Sony turntable. Bose waterproof speakers, I listen exclusively to vinyl records which mostly come from garage sales. You have to stop work a lot to flip records but the sound is worth every second. A wide range of genres. { I also have a back up amp and turntable from garage sales in case of failure ]

I miss vinyl---The skips---The scratching, Flipping the stack, The broken needles!!---Tee

I use a Lenova laptop, with added speakers. I get stations from all over the world but stick with US stations. The only cord is the one for the computer. It picks up WiFi from the house. AND absolutely no static. Some times I put it on You Tube and listen to songs one after the other or Trey Gowdy. Quite entertaining.

Sansui receiver, Akia speakers. Bought when I was in the Navy 40 some years ago. When you got so many miles out to sea cigarettes and electronics got cheaper. Still work good. Son gave me Sirius satellite radio 3 years ago and the tuner stays on 60's at six.---Tee

90% of my music comes from my phone, via itunes, or XM via the XM app on my phone. (I stay close enough to use wifi for the app.) I recently found the Marley line of speakers. Bluetooth my phone to one of the speakers. That little thing sounds as good as my home system.

Radio/CD player salvaged from a Chrysler minivan. Feeds a pair of Pioneer speakers left behind by one the kids. 12 vdc is from an old laptop power supply. Antenna is a piece of wire tacked to a rafter.

The whole outfit works great. And it cost me nothing!

I don't have a man cave but out in my shop I have thirty year old gray plastic ghetto blaster. There is a wire coat hanger stuck in the stub of the antenna.

Milwaukee M18 radio. Either plug it in, or put a battery in it. Good digital tuner, and an auxiliary jack. I can grab it and take it camping, ice fishing, or grilling out in the yrad.

We have entirely to much dust here in AZ and CD or vinyl are out of the question. I had a nice old HIFI stereo and speakers but they burned up in last years shop fire.
I just found a decent stereo/boom box from Amazon and it dose the trick. Plenty loud enough and sounds OK for a shop.

I use an amplified sound system monitor fed by a satellite radio. Solid and clean. Wired into the shop lights. Antenna on the roof. Bluegrass music is the only thing it's ever played.

I also have a CD player handy in case the satellite programmers do something stupid again.

Close to what I have it rocks but I ran the antenna thru the wall to the outside..

Good to see you have the Oliver plaque right below your FFA board !!!
Kinda starten to like ya now

PS: Don't tell your son 😉

I just wish that I could find something good to listen to. The area stations play the same dozen country pop all day. When traveling in VA a few weeks ago I found a station that played the good ones from 25 to 15 years ago.

I have an old blue plastic record player/AM-FM radio my wife had when we were married. Been on 24/7 for about 30 years.

30 year old BoomBox. Setting high on a shelf so it doesn't catch any sparks from the angle grinder or wire welder. It is set on a local radio station that keeps me updated on weather, news, and local events. The music is all country.

showcrop, that station was probably Hank 93.1 FM out of richmond or Hank 94.1 out of charlottesville. I live over in the valley and can't
pick up either but I do stream 93.1 off their website all day at work. Great station very few commercials and they play the music the
"classic" and the "modern" country misses (80's and 90's).

Now if I could just pick-up my router in the house out in the shop, I could stream it out there.
