Speedometer

I have a speedometer that needs some work. It will read speed not mileage. where can I send it to fix it and what kind of cost am I looking at for it. Ball park is good enough. New speed head is about 300.00 ,and is a digital not, the needle model like it has.

I have peeled the ring apart, find the wore plastic gear, build teeth up with epoxy, file them down and put back together. Good to go for years and years.

I don't know your application but if its a popular vehicle and common problem then maybe a business online has a cheap fix. For example, I had the same problem as yours on a mid/late 90's mustang. I found a couple companies that sold the little plastic drive gear online and it wasn't a very difficult fix, I think the gear was around $10 shipped.
