Early alfalfa cut

My alfalfa got damaged pretty bad in the hail storm a couple of weeks ago, it is up less than a foot, probably a month from blooming, but really infested with mustard.

I am thinking about big baling it now to knock down the weeds.

Please comment.

Go for it. We cut early one year and ended up getting 5 cuttings that year.

Go for it. The neighbor got 6 cuttings last year. I do not know if the tonnage was as good but the quality was way better.

They can spray it and kill everything but the Alfalfa they did it for my brother
