A friend of mine has a Nuffield tractor that is filling the rad with diesel fuel. Other than possible head gasket what should he look for TIA

A diesel that misfires leaves fuel in the cylinder. If the misfire is due to a gasket or cracked head,
that fuel will be pushed into the cooling system. Jim

Not sure about Nuffield tractors but many diesel tractor engines have an oil cooler that is incorporated into the cooling system through the radiator. Look to see if there are two small lines going into the radiator. These lines are usually located near the bottom of the radiator.

Sometimes these lines get pin holes in them inside the radiator and that is why there is oil in the coolant. Many just cut the oil lines and connect them together with high pressure hose.
