New Holland 8010 96 HP Tractor

I just bought a New Holland 1996 8010 96 HP Tractor.

It needs to have the transmission replaced. Anyone know where I can purchase a 1996 8010 96 HP New Holland 8010 transmission,

Is it costly to replace it?

It certainly will be costly if you buy it from New Holland. You need to find one in a salvage yard, if possible.

Alexander tractor parts Winsbor Tx is one of the largest ford/new Holland salvage yards in the nation but, think you will find cost more to fix the tractor than it is worth.

Does that tractor use the old Ford 8x2 crashbox or one of the Fiat transmissions?

I'd never heard of a 8010, says it's a updated 7810S, 6 cyl. I don't think we saw these in Canada, 7610S was the big one here in the "S"?

Looks to be the classic Ford 8x2 crash box?
