I saw this at local sale and posted that I thought it would fetch between 5-10$. It sold at high end of my estimate--ten bucks.
Purely coincidental, the seller was a member of Model T Ford club I belong to, told me all about it. Someone in his family built it as a workhorse way back mid-fifties or so. Had reel mowers both sides, snowplow, hydraulic cyl courtesy of pwr steering off a Ford. Rear end from Jeep, trans from Chevy truck. Independent rear brakes both sides. Said he'd hauled this to the sale along with many other pieces, including two Farmall Cub tractors. After carting away a few truckloads from his place, he said a casual visitor looking at his yard would not notice anything missing. He has a lot of stuff. It was a good day for me--didn't buy anything ;-)

Used to be a lot of "doodlebugs" (home made tractors) where I grew up. I plowed snow with one for years and years. That was back in the day when money was tighter, families owned one car, no one had a credit card and a color TV was something that took a couple years to save up for.
