Hi guys. I'm in full 'spring' mode around here. Thought I'd share.

Only way is if you are the only one in the field, 2 or more you would be waiting all the time at ends to be able to turn around. And growing up we had 3 plows in same field at same time.

Wow! Beautiful ground and nice straight furrows. That's a job to be proud of. I always enjoyed moldboard plowing, lots of thinking over the years pulling a four bottom.

The way to driving a straight line is to not try to drive a straight line..... just quit worrying about it and it will happen.

That is definitely straight. No way could I do that.

Do you think when he's at the end, somehow the plow hooks on to the furrow, gives it a tug and makes it that straight? Very impressive.

I don't see farmers in my area use a plow. Most disk, sometimes they will use a chisel plow and pull a disk.

Last year this time, many fields were already planted. We've had nicer weather this year and some fields been planted or even disked.

Looks like you need a larger plow ;-) With that big MF I'm surprised you're not throwing a rooster tail behind it :)

Jeez, I dunno if I could plow a field where I can't see the other end! Eat your lunch on the way down, and the next round you'd be ready for supper.

Oh my word, what I would give for some of that beautiful deep, dark soil! Great Plains have the best soils in the world.
Here in Virginia Piedmont our red clay is good for growing just 2 things: tobacco or pine trees!

Talked to my nephew in ND yesterday afternoon; their forecast was for 3-6 inches of snow last night!

That was a bit of optimism on their part, actual was 1" to 2" max that melted almost as fast as it fell.

Oh ya, got to have straight furrows. My day would step off the lands and tie a white flag to a stake, then go down to the other end of field , step it off and head for that flag. Any small hill required a taller stake.
