Trying to get stuck pistons out of 1935 F20 i pushed piston our the bottom and thesleeve broke in half i need to hind a piston and sleeve . can i mill it out and use a M Farmall piston and sleeve to replace?

Run three or four weld beads vertically inside the sleeve to shrink it.

The M sleeve and piston will be way too big.

Sleeve can be pulled out the top with a sleeve puller, or something equivalent. That is, if enough left of bottom
of sleeve to use a puller. Probly need over half of sleeve to remain at the bottom. Otherwise, probly have to do
the welder trick, or carefully bust it out in chunks. I don't think an M sleeve and piston will work. Can probly
find used at a salvage yard.

Back in my tractor pulling days(70's) guys would counter bore the F-20 block and use John Deere 4020 piston and sleeves.

This F20 is special to me -myDad sold his horses & mules (farming teams) and got a F 20 in '39 l remember plowing with my mom plowing with teams and with my dad planting cotton. We used the F 20 until 1960 .. I found this tractor in a shed that had been there over there over 35 years with the planters on it and couldn't resist trying to get it running..
