8930 Magnum

I bought a 8930 this winter,1998 model. Looking for a transmission wiring harness. CIH does not make this wiring harness any more and my dealer has told me there are none to be found at any CIH dealer in the United States. Trying to get a hold of the one they claim is in Germany. So far we've gotten no where trying to get the one from Germany. Does anyone know where I can find a decent used wire harness? Thank you

Unless it is real complicated you could just make one by running the wires then just tie them together with some tape or that plastic loom stuff.

If you decide to do it yourself, get some Weather Pac connectors.

Hi, if you decided to make your own, in the computer industry to protect cabling we now use a smaller version of "Big O" drainage pipe and it has been adopted in the automotive industry as well. We also used to use plastic Tywraps to secure the cabling but now use velcro strips.
