Old 4 bolt implement rim -- 15x4.5 or 15x5 inch rims?

Which 15" rim am I more likely to find a tire for reasonably? I don't need the extra weight capacity of the bigger rim, but I would gladly put the bigger one on if I could find tires for it easier. This is just for a 2 wheel 6" disc with hydraulic cylinder. These are the old 4 bolt style implement rims. Mostly need it to move it around the shed.

Got a couple of plows with those 4 bolt 15" rims and put new 6.70 X 15 rib implement tires on them. Was surprised at the low cost and like the looks. Bias tube type tires.

Had one of those those international disks. Had the wide split rims.
On blasted heavy implement! !.

This sounds right up my neighborhood -- that works out to about 170 mm tire size (6.70 inches).

Any brand in particular that makes that tire that you'd recommend?

(quoted from post at 20:50:56 04/21/17) The wider one is better. 185-15 tires or there about can be fit. narrow tires are more rare. Jim

Ah yes, I see that 5 inch rims can go up to an 185 tire. Good to know, and yeah, the really narrow stuff seems hard to find these days.

Amazing how deceptively heavy some implements are!
