After Rain Photo

We had a pretty good rain yesterday. Not sure how much as I don't have a gauge out yet but its still wet and muddy around the yard. Grass is starting to get green in places but the old hilltop where the thresher sits is still pretty brown. I took this photo of it today with the drone camera. It was a rare quiet day and the reflections in the slough are noticeable.

You are so fortunate to capture these very nice photos. What is the narrow black line that starts in the lower left area and heads off
toward the left of the slough and continues into the distance?

Those would be cattle trails Ron. There have been cattle in that pasture since my grandfather homesteaded this quarter in 1903. After that photo I turned the camera around and took a shot of the yard.

Interesting terrain. So flat but enough slope to be considered rolling. Both of our places here have about 300 ft elevation change in 40 acres.

(quoted from post at 04:31:30 04/21/17) Sure is flat, but beautiful.

Don't let the one dimensional view on the screen fool you. It is mostly rolling ground here. That threshing machine is parked on a hill that we used to slide toboggans and sleighs down in the winter as kids.

(quoted from post at 11:23:14 04/21/17) Don't look like you got any close neighbors or subdivisions in your back yard.
And thats the way I like it. PLenty of freedom to fly, photo, whatever, and nobody complains.
