getting back preassure on pump shaft seal leaking new loader build on 1968 sears suberban 12 hp tractor 8 gpm pump chain drive off side any ideas :?

You did not mention what kind of pump but most common gear hydraulic pumps the shaft seal does nothing but hold low pressure leak. The reason you have back pressure is the end or end plates of the pump are worn or scored. Some pumps can be repaired but some can not be rebuilt. Most likely something that small you will just replace the pump.

Your pump has internal problems, you may have deadheaded it with faulty plumbing. You have provided no info whatsoever about the system. We don't have a crystal ball to analyze your project.

Its a new system 8 gpm bi-derectional pump tank is in the loader tower suction line is 2 "of bottom o the tank to a filter 3/4"
line to the pump then 3/8 line to the valve 10 gpm joy stick valve
