730 Case at Work

I finally got the video edited down to manageable size and posted at youtube. Showing the 730 Case pushing up carragana branches with the Leon dozer blade. It worked well with no scratches or dents that I noticed. Got a good bush guard I built up front to protect that delicate grille work on the 30 series tractors.

Roosty, I saw your cutting hay in hundred acre woods video. What is the Nevardland Cairn? History?
And, where are you located. I'm pretty sure you're in Canada, but which Province? Where? Thanks, kelly

That's a good video but I like your 'Nice Day to move snow' video better!

:)

You are right on Kelly. Its Saskatchewan. That stone cairn was built in memory of my Nevard ancestors that homesteaded that piece of land in the early 1900s. I can't remember but guess it might show up in some of my videos from over there.

(quoted from post at 19:34:11 04/19/17) I give, what is carragana ?

Probably one of the earliest and most common hedge row shrub/tree in Sask. It was a fast way to get a hedge/shelterbelt around the early settler's yards. Actually native to Siberia but it was imported to North America. It is tough and resilient and will spread around if you let it. Like most hedges it needs a little maintenance to cut back the dead stuff that falls so that is what I was doing in the video.
