I have a 1974 articulate hough 60B loader. It is leaking transmission fluid out of the flywheel check plate. What is the problem with it and how do I fix it.

Torque convertor seals are out letting it flood the housing. Next thing it will do is catch fire or oil get in the starter. Remove the torque convertor and re seal it.

Charlie my first post was the torque convertor seals but you could have a hydraulic pump dumping hydraulic fluid in there also. If the hydraulic is going down will be the pump , if the transmission is getting low will be the torque.

Removing the torque convertor is pretty easy, remove the floor boards, hydraulic pump, drive lines and ring of bolts around the convertor. Thing is know what to do when you have it removed. If you do not have torque convertor experience doubt that it is something you want to try. Knowing what to replace and what not is very important. Need someone with experience.

Thanks for the help .I think I might just pay someone else to fix it because most likely they more then I do .Your information was helpful. Thanks for everything.
